In 1988, Dr. Kerry Romesburg was selected as the new UVSC President. Gil Cook was appointed as Vice President over college relations. In that capacity Gil approached Don about reestablishing the Auto Expo. Don agreed and set a goal of holding Auto Expo 3 in June of 1991. Gale Hansen agreed again to be in charge of the Swap Meet. Beth Black from Word Perfect accepted the assignment of directing the Fashion Show. The fashion show and auto trades demonstrations were the only dry areas and they drew many spectators. In spite of the rain, 84 vehicles and 35 swappers participated. Few participants left during the rain, which was a good indication of the support of the event.

In 1992, Don Pendergrass retired from UVSC and Ray Campbell, a Vice President from Central Bank, was asked to Chair Auto Expo 4. Ray was chosen as a result of having conducted a very successful car show in Provo for 2 years. Jones Paint & Glass provided 5 Models from their collection to highlight the event. The show grew to 125 vehicle entrants and 73 swappers. Dean Teuscher an avid toy collector was asked to set up a toy display, which was well received by all attending and he was asked to repeat it with different toys for each year's show.
